The overall objective of the project is to carry out the necessary developments to ensure that the modeling of production curves using the plane approximation guarantees compliance with maximum flow rate limits, as well as to extend this methodology to an additional subsystem to analyze the suitability of extending this approach to the rest of the subsystems.
Layman's summary: This project is part of the Exla model developed by IIT for ENEL-Endesa. This model is formulated as a stochastic optimization problem that represents in detail all the hydraulic basins managed by ENEL-Endesa in the peninsula. It enables obtaining the optimal operation planning for hydropower resources in the medium term, as well as the setpoints for the short term.
